Tuesday, March 10 we begin the poetry unit and I will provide selections to be read in class so there will be no reading to prepare for Tuesday. Thursday, March 12 I will not be here and there will be a substitute.

Assignments for Tuesday, March 3 and for Thursday, March 5

For TUESDAY, March 3 please read “A Clean, Well-Lighted Place” by Ernest Hemingway.

Found here: http://www.mrbauld.com/hemclean.html

For THURSDAY, March 5 you will do the following assignment. (I apologize for the delay in posting. Therefore, I have shifted the due date to Thursday to compensate).

On a separate piece of paper you must correct all the errors on your sentence fragment and run-on sentence sheets. You must ALSO explain WHY the sentence was a fragment or why it wasn’t for EVERY one of the answers you got wrong. Kudos to those of you with less errors–your homework will be shorter.
